Curriculum
Committee for Children created the Child Protection Unit as an update to Talking About Touching, an early sexual abuse prevention program created in the early 80's. This update also integrated the program with the Second Step social-emotional skills and Bullying Prevention programs to maximize the ease of use and effectiveness.
As part of the in-house team that included the Project Manger, Product Manager, Editors, and Curriculum Developers I lead the art-direction of the design concepting, creation of the complete program from Early Learning—Grade 5.
This project encompassed all of the printed materials which include: notebook covers and lessons, cards, instructional posters for six grade levels. Also produced were, DVD and CD face art, and navigations screens. My team included production designers and illustrators.
